Back by popular demand, the morning plenary sessions will give delegates an uplifting, inspirational message to take away with them each day.
Monday 5 July
Gareth Malone (invited)
Gareth first appeared on our screens in the BAFTA winning three-part documentary series 'The Choir'on BBC2. The series saw Gareth take on the challenge of bringing music into the lives of students who had never sung before and ultimately taking them to compete with the very best in the "World Choir Games" in China. The series has been a huge success and has been praised by politicans and television critics alike.
Gareth has a strong belief in the positive effects of creativity and performance, and is a passionate advocate of the power of expressive arts to enthuse and inspire the work we do. The sense of community which Gareth creates with each of his choirs should hit home with every fundraiser - and you may even leave this session singing more than his praises!
