Wanted! Convention Volunteers!
A 50 strong team of volunteers from across the sector offered their services for the duration of Convention in 2009. The event benefited greatly from their enthusiasm and commitment and the Institute of Fundraising is now recruiting volunteers for this year.

What does volunteering involve?
Volunteers will be asked to work on a voluntary basis for three and a half days from Sunday 4 July to Wednesday 7 July. With over 1,700 attendees across the three days, volunteers carry out a number of vital duties in partnership with Institute staff. These include speaker liaison, registration, managing workshops, promoting membership, assisting delegates and much more.

What are the rewards?
Free entry to all three days of Convention as well as meals (and accommodation where required)
- Valuable experience in team working and event management
- The opportunity to attend selected sessions on a range of fundraising topics and issues
- Becoming an integral part of the largest fundraising event in Europe

NOTE: Apart from in exceptional circumstances, volunteers are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the venue.
